THEAMA – Inclusive Theatre Greece / Teatr Grodzki Poland / Teatro Gato Escaldado Portugal held an Online Seminar on Access Services for the Theater, on Wednesday 31/01/2024 at 19.00 – 21.00 EET (Athens Local Time,   within thea framework of the project D.I.V.A – Diversity, Inclusion and Visibility in Arts.

Dr. Emmanouela Patiniotaki, founder and CEO of ATLAS E.P.,  presented  the main notions of accessibility and access services at the theatre, and discussed aspects involved in the preparation and provision of each service. Krzysztof Kotyniewicz, Head of the Polish Association of Deaf People,as guest speaker presented the current situation on availability of access services in Poland.

The seminar provided for Greek and Polish Sign Language Interpreting, and a second sound channel for simultaneous interpretation of English to Polish.
